GADARS® — Urban Waste Collection Data Analysis System (SaaS)

Web-based analytics platform for continuous auditing of urban waste collection services.

The system operated on collected data logs from the on-board weighting system on waste collection trucks.

Software ingested these logs and processed them to generate key performance indicators about the collection service.

Indicators were reported across three types of contractual breaches:

• Missed scheduled collections

• Incorrect waste segregation (mixed types)

• Container count deviations per waste category (over/under collection vs. contract)

GADARS® was deployed as a SaaS solution, and used by the City Council of Torredembarra from April 2016 to January 2019.
