Web-Based Machine Utilization Tracking System for Infor::Pyme

Project developed for an industrial company using an Infor ERP (Infor::Pyme software product).

The system replaced a specialized hardware device — a tracking terminal — that workers previously used to mark start and end times of production on each machine. The physical terminals were expensive and required replacement with a web-based solution.

Implementation:

  1. Web interface communicating with a backend to create necessary records in the database
  2. Logged all production work operations

Technology Stack:

  1. Spring Framework with MVC architecture
  2. REST controllers
  3. JDBC queries
  4. Deployed on Apache Tomcat 5.x
